Although Master blaster has tremendous talent and a good head on his shoulders, to put too much pressure on him too soon could be catastrophic for him, and the squad. Small steps initially, then when the timing is right, allow him to move forward with the help of the team, and Chris. Personally, I'd love him to have at least two seasons at the Lane as he would be a huge asset to the team. After that, it's inevitable he will move on to pastures new and greater opportunities - he deserves it, and it would be selfish of SUFC to stifle his talents and keep him in the squad. He's so destined for greater things!!! 👍❤️✌️🩵🌟

I think he's got a high ceiling and has shown numerous strengths in the prem. However, I disagree with the voices that suggests to build a squad around him next season. It's too early and the pressure would be immense. Iliman made sense considering where he was at in his career and the threat he provided as an individual. Give him a full season in the championship alongside an experienced leader in midfield then make him permanent captain or build around him.

Burnley spent £100m more than us and is still relegated. If they can't offload some players or don't have a serious relegation clause, they could be in trouble financially next season. The Blades don't have that pressure because we spent pennies, and all of our legacy big earners are out of contract or will be sold. This is the perfect opportunity to build another 2019-2020 squad made up of predominantly English, Scots, Welsh, NI, and Irish boys who know how to fight!! UTB ⚔️

Until the Club is sold, we won't be able to spend in a way that would help us quickly establish a starting 11 that can compete in the prem. Only very few clubs can buy a ready prem squad within 1 season and we are not cash rich. It will be a project that will take numerous seasons. We'll likely sell our assets to ensure we can embark on this project. Fortunately, we can afford to buy experienced championship quality players to lead alongside our young players over the next 2 to 3 seasons. The odd prem loan will be more of a luxury and the exception to the rule.

Master blaster is a cool dude and is setting a fine example in the squad. He's not fazed by anything and he recognises the power of the performance on the pitch. A good team player who has the talent and tenacity to go a long way. Yeah, like Mr Vancouver, I hope Chris doesn't sell him.
